"Chuck's Food Shack" was started by Express-News Taste Team editor Emily Spicer, and features Express-News Taste Team member Chuck Blount barbecuing up some interesting Texas recipes. "Chuck's Food Shack" was born in summer of 2017 after Taste Team editor Emily Spicer discovered food writer Chuck Blount has his own barbecue shack in his backyard and consistently grills up some interesting recipes. The series premiered on July 17, 2017. I have shot and edited all the on-set videos for "Chuck's Food Shack," including Cooking With Heart, Literally and Smoked Turkey: It's All About the Brine and Time.
