"This is S.A." is a video series on ExpressNews.com produced and edited by me. Inspired by the amazing CNN web video series "Great Big Story," I came up with the idea for a mini documentary-style video series featuring interesting people around San Antonio.
From Spurs Jesus to Gini Garcia of Garcia Glass, "This is S.A." introduces fans to some of the most interesting characters around the city. Watch as Joe the Barber carves NBA star Kawhi Leonard into a fans hair, or as San Antonio's most famous beekeeper, Rick, handles africanized bees with ease. The series premiered in May of 2017 and is about to turn one next month. Check out a couple of my favorites, including "The Drag Queen of Comedy," and "From Cocktails to Cockatoos."
